If you have been wondering if The Branding Business School is for you, you’re not going to want to miss this episode!

Why The Branding Business School was created [01:02]

Victoria didn’t set out to create a course, she actually fought the idea of having this second business and creating this course for a long time. But, she saw the need to help clear this utter confusion around branding and to really help women in business grasp what branding is beyond just the visuals, which was something that she simply could not put off any longer. The majority of clients BrandWell is designing for can not confidently answer the questions of “Who do you serve?”, “How are you different?”, and “Why should somebody choose you over the competition?”.  This is a problem that needs to be addressed.

Nowadays, the barrier to entry for most businesses is at the lowest point it’s ever been. Every industry is saturated. The online landscape is shifting and it’s a lot easier for people to start businesses of all sorts of different industries and categories. It’s a wonderful thing, but it also means that standing out and stopping the scroll has never been harder. If entrepreneurs don’t prioritize branding in the fullest sense, they will risk becoming invisible in the very near future.

Over the years, Victoria and her team at BrandWell have been asked the same questions over and over again, which has helped convince Victoria to create this course out of the interest of her audience. It furthered her conviction to create it when she realized that there were no brand strategy courses out there taught exclusively by women.

The time commitment [05:27]

One of the biggest goals Victoria had when designing this content library was to not overwhelm the students with unnecessary information. There are only 10 modules with brief but very effective assignments so that you can complete this as quickly as a couple of weeks. Victoria is a business owner, a wife, a mom to two littles, she doesn’t have the time to sit down and listen to long episodes. She fits in time for education when she’s folding laundry, going for runs, driving to pick up her kid from school, so this is who she kept in mind when creating the content.

Who is The Branding Business School for? [07:39]

First and foremost, it was created for busy women. But more than that, part of the reason Victoria has five other female founders to help teach this course to you is because something she’s learned about herself over the last several years is that she genuinely enjoys working with and learning from other entrepreneurs who are in similar seasons of life as her. Victoria shares that she is more inspired watching somebody achieve their goals when she knows that they have been presented with similar obstacles as she has been.

When Victoria was creating The Branding Business School for women, she knew that there were probably other women out there who were in similar shoes as her. They were already spinning so many plays. They were already feeling guilty for trying to struggle too many things and feeling like they were dropping the ball in some areas, so Victoria wants them to be able to learn from other women who know exactly how they feel. The women teaching in The Branding Business School have dealt with the exact same obstacles to scaling a business, and yet they built successful brands in spite of it, without sacrificing their ultimate priorities. Victoria also created this course for women who are struggling with confidence, imposter syndrome, and brand confusion.

Who The Branding Business School is NOT for [15:14]

If you have all the time in the world and budget isn’t an issue, you can absolutely go to business school instead. However, Victoria has spoken with many women who have  gone to traditional business school in recent years, and they have all said that there was not an emphasis on crafting a brand or on all of the things talked about in The Branding Business School.

Another reason you might not want to purchase The Branding Business School is if you already have a clear brand strategy. If you’re already making sales, you’re scaling your business, and you know exactly who your target audience is, then this course is probably not for you. There are things you’re already doing well, so keep doing that well and feel free to continue to tune into this podcast every Wednesday for free content and encouragement.

Lastly, if you do not have at least an idea for what your business could be someday, this course may not be for you. While this course is for idea stage entrepreneurs as well as experienced CEO’s, it still requires you to have the concept of what you want to do or offer. You just haven’t started it yet or you haven’t proven the concept yet. If you want to be an entrepreneur but you have no idea where to start, or what that might look like, Victoria recommends that you start thinking about what you’re good at, what you enjoy doing, and what people would be willing to pay you to do for them.
